Glenn my ablation was completed in September 2003, I was back in AFIB within 12 hours and have been since I left the hospital. The next recommendation from the EP besides more meds was to have the sinus node ablated and a pacemaker inserted. I do not consider this an option and I have reschedule the maze for early January. I am not having your problems and I generally feel pretty good considering all the medication I am now on, Cardizam, Digixin, Coumadin and Toprol XL.
I do not know what your state of health is but it sounds like the maze procedure should be seriously considered.
