Hi Sharin, sorry to hear about your husband. The same thing happened to me.. Six years after my maze too much scar tissue had formed on one of the channels. They cardioconverted me,( only lasting awhile.) After three more converstions, I had an ablation.. It lasted about 6 months, now Im waiting for a second.. Hopefully Paul will not have as much trouble!!! I have alot of faith that I will be afib free someday!!!! Good luck, keep us posted... Patricia
