I had the maze done in June of 1999 and at the same time had a asd repair. I had a hole in the middle of my heart the size of a small pear. Dr. McCarthy did his work in there after Dr. Peterson repaired the hole. I went home and healed normally without complications. I was out of the maze sooner than they had thought also.
