I'm at month four of what Dr. Natale of the CC feels is a successful PVI for chronic lone AF. Time will be the true test.
I'd like your response to the other comments I had concerning the maze vs PVI/PVA for lone afib.
An additional downside to the maze is the need for some of a follow up less invasive PVI/PVA. This has been noted on this site.
