I looked it up on Medscape, and it's a medicine for Ventricular Fibbrillation, with an "off label" use for supra ventricular tachycardia, and Paroxysamal atrial fib.
Have you and your family inveatigated if this drug was appropriately used for your brother? I know, that when I went into hospital to begin a new Atrial fib dru, and threw a "run" of ventricular tachycardia, they immediately suspended all thoughts of using the AF drug. Seems, if a drug for Atrial tachycardia, is not good for Ventricular tachycardia, and visa versa.
What is goin on with your brother now?
