I see not reason why you wouldn't want to go ahead with a thalium stress test, and ecocardiogram? Is there a reason? This doesn't mean that at the same time, you get to an EP asap. You need to have enough information to know whether you should persue an RF ablationist or a Maze surgeon. If you read here ( and it may be that you're feeling too crappy to do a lot of research) you will find people who wish they had tried RF ablation with an EP first, and others who wish they had persued Maze further!

Take a deep, slow breath, and think about it.
