GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU WHO ARE TRYING TO GET OFF THE HEART RYTHM MEDS!!!!

I'm not sure if you are "supposed" to flush these things down the toilet...but with a bit of nervousness, I DID!

I flushed a large bottle of Diltiazem, some Rocephen, and Fleccainide!!!! Wonder what the septic tank will do??

I got to cleaning out the medicine cabinet, and it was just a "little" traumatic to pitch the Diltiazem, because I had kept it around for years, "just in case" I might go into Afib and needed converting. It was a great way to celebrate a one year anniversary!

I now take only one antidepressant, Lipitor, Mobic (OA drug), Synthroid and the baby aspirin 6/7days and one regular aspirin.

Hubby and I are on his prostate cancer fighting diet, which is non-red meat, good protien and olive oil. NO other vegetable oils, or hydrogenated, trans fats!! No nitrites, and we buy organic, no hormone added fowel, eggs, and mild products. Lots of good fiber, unless he starts having bowel problems due to radiation. Whole fruits and veggies...only a very few juices, mostly cranberry and grape.

We are doing well with it so far.
S.
