Cortarone Problem

My brother was on Cortarone for five months. He is now on a ventillator at U of Michigan Hospital. He is gravely ill. The doctors think it was the Cortarone. He is paralyzed from the neck down. He has had five treatments of IV IG to try to reverse this illness. The doctors said this is a rare side effect of Cortarone. I think this drug should be taken off the market if the doctors' final diagnosis is that Cortarone was responsible for this nerve damage.
