I wanted to say thank you for all of your inputs regarding my situation. I think my whole problem is that I am a nurse and I think of all the complications and know too much about all health problems. I have been dealing with my heart problem for 10 years ad I thought I found the perfect cardiologist in my area, which was not the case. So now I have to drive 2 hours to go to someone that I do not feel is fixing the problem!! I have had 2 ablations on my sinus nodes, and they ablated the wrong part of the heart, which obviously did not help! then I ended up with a pacemaker that ended up pacing my diaphram, which had to be moved and screwed into my collar bone, that is a nice feeling! I know you have to be agressive with your doctors, because they do not listen, they blow you off, like you are over reacting, which is not the case. When they finally did the maze 10 years later I thought I am home free, but I still have problems, mostly with my pacemaker. I just do not know what to do, the only EP doctor is 2 hours away and I dont feel like I am getting anywhere! I live in Grand Rapids, MI. Does anyone know of anyone good around the area, or semi close? Thank you for letting me vent, because no one really understands what I am going through.
