Hi everyone had a somewhat dissapointing visit at the Cardiac clinic on Friday last it seems that the ablation which I had hoped would finaly call a halt to my arrythmia problems had failed a subsequent 72 hour recorder comfirmed this in fact it seems that I now have arrythmia's more than one so the choices are now another ablation which in the doctors opinion was not worth it, try to control it with drugs or a pacemaker with he wasn't keen to do as I am only 55 so it looks like drugs are the choice and I have to go back on to warfrin (coudamin) a real pain as you need regular testing to control it.
The doctor wants to maintain me on drugs for a couple of years till other techniques with new equipment have been developed in the heart unit to enable him to diagnose exactly what is going on and hopefully offer me a more positive way forward.
