My husband had a PVI performed by Dr. Doug Packer at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, last week. The facility, the staff, and the entire process were absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend this team to anyone who asked.
My husband was taken to surgery around 7:30 a.m., and did not return to his room until almost 6:30 that evening. He had one particularly stubborn impulse in one of his pulmonary veins that was finding a way around the standard burns. Dr. Packer worked on him until he was confident he had isolated the bugger.
Everyone at the clinic and surrounding businesses was exceptionally nice and helpful. I've never been in such a place where NO ONE has a bad day!
One week post-PVI and he's still in NSR.
