I am here to let you know that my 5 year anniversary to being a-fib free is coming up on June24,2004. I am also going to try to get off Pindolol and find out why I have extra beats and a resting heart rate of 120 when off the meds. I will do this per instruction of my heart doc the week of June 20-25th. I will have a holter monitor for 24 hours to see if it picks up the problem. I have already been ruled out that this isnt a complication of my maze. I am still as happy today as I was 5 years ago when I had it. Thanks Dr. McCarthy.......
