Tom, the time on the thirty day event monitor expired last Thursday and wouldn't you know that all this started right after time expired on it? None of it has been captured on any of the tracings or on ekg yet. No I haven't changed medications or added any recently except the cardiologist tried me on lopressor for five days week before last and then I went back on atenolol like I had been taking along with flecainide. I have no idea what is causing the higher heartbeat. It's a strong beat and I feel everyone of them, so there's no denying what it's doing. I had a lot of very strong feeling pvc's several times Saturday and since then my heartrate has never returned to around 70 like my pacemaker is programmed for. So that means my heart and not my pacemaker is dominate. I do know I didn't get much sleep Friday and Saturday nights sitting in a chair or halfway leaning back in it. Couldn't lie in the bed with heart beating wildly, no way to sleep that way.

No I haven't called Dr. Cheng in Houston yet, but am going to this A.M.. Going to email him first, he's pretty prompt answering and also prompt returning phone calls.

My heartrate is hanging around 85 - 95 bpm, and sometime 'runs' up to 125'ish along for a few minutes, and sometimes longer.

I'm trying my best to hang in 'there'. It will have been seven weeks ago tomorrow since my procedure. I'm beginning to venture out a little by myself, like go to post office, pay a few bills, etc., you know, all the 'fun' things. hehheh....

Glenn
