I just spoke, by phone,with Roger at OSU. He sounded great! Really energized. He has been in NSR since his maze surgery and feels real good. He was full of praise for OSUMC and Diane Buchele who was there for him every step of the way.
His stamina is great. His sternum feels fine - very little discomfort (he had the open chest maze). He can reach in all directions with no bother. He should be leaving the hospital Thursday or Friday.
His actual procedure was filmed for a TV segment and he got to watch it afterwards!
Regarding OSUMC he said ' I can't say enough good things about this place - its class A all the way!
Unfortunately I forgot to ask him my recliner question :-)
