Hi,
I posted a while ago that I was going to have a PVA at Marin General on April 1,2. Well, it did not happen. About a week before I caught a cold that then led to bronchitis. Was in the hospital for three days. I am much better now and am on the schedule for May 4th. Was very disappointed I could not have the ablation in April. What bad luck to suddenly get sick!

Someone wrote me about the ablation and I erased the email by mistake. She was asking about my history:

I have had A-fib for about 5 years now. For a while sotolol (betapace) helped, then it did not. Then 2.5 years ago I got a pacemake/defibulator. That helped for about a year and a half. It would try to pace me out of fast rhythms and would give me an internal caridoversion if the pacing did not work. Starting last September I got more and more shocks (cardioversions) until it was several time a week. After that we tried tikosyn but that did not work. I have been in constant A-fib since October of 2003. I had problems with fluid buildup in November so have been on lasix three times a day since then. I am taking digoxin and betapace for pace control.

Looking forward to NSR!!!
