A forum that is established to help people; be it through education or support, can become un-helpful, whenever they become sensored, or make people feel like they can't be honest. Serious illness can be a bitch for some of us to bear without being able to "talk it out" with someone outside, whom we feel "safe" with. The anonymity of the internet, is a good thing in that. (However, i've got most of you guys figured out...he,he)
I've been on a prostate cancer board lately, and some of my emails didn't show up, because, through my research, we're making decisions, (hubby and I)that clash with the "administrators", opinions. NOT helpful, to say the least. He says he reserves that right.
