Joel: I need to ask you a personal question. How old are you? I am 48 and have had AF for who knows how long but diagnosed with it about 2 1/2 years ago and I am still trying to find someone who is my age and has similiar activites, etc. as mine to have something to compare to. I read this site each day. It is my link to helping me decide the direction I need to go. I really don't want to put all those drugs in my system and try cardioversion again just to be disappointed or maybe flip my heart into something worse. So I continue to read this site and hopefully someday soon make my decision. I am very active and healthy except for my AF and not use to having any health issues until I was diagnosed with AF. Well I have found myself just rambling here so I will close, just meant to ask you your age because it seems you had your Maze to correct the AF only, some of the posts have the maze with the valve repair and other fixes. Thank you for your time.
