I thought Dr. Cheng would ablate the pvc's too while in my heart burning the afib spots. However, he will not keep a patient on the table for more than four hours maximum due to overexposure. He had used most of that four hours ablating the afib and didn't have time to go easter egg hunting due to time constraints.
He thinks and I hope that the pvc's will diminish as my heart heals. If not I will require an additional ablation procedure to eliminate the pvc's. PVC's are a different beast than afib. I'm just impatient because of the terrible burst of anxiety feeling they cause. Light pvc's don't bother me except for the anxiety feeling you get for an instant and recover from it, it's those that are very forceful that makes you feel as though they are 'taking you out'.
