Dear Glenn, I am so sorry to learn about your adventures--just when you thought you were in for smooth sailing. My PVI was 2 months ago this week and as you know from reading my anxious posts, I have had a lot of PACs and yes even a few short episodes of a-fib at first. Those PACs feel really terrible especially if you're getting a lot of them over a few hours or a day. If it assures you, it really is true that they subside over the first 2 to 3 months. I don't know whether it's the lapse of time since my PVI or that I started taking a moderate dose of over the counter magnesium twice a day but whatever the reason, I have had no PACs at all for almost a week. I earnestly hope that as time passes for you that you will experience similar relief. So just hang in there, kiddo, and try to keep yourself calm. This too shall pass...
