Thanks Ed for your reassurance. Before the maze the prematury beats were the sign that the atrial fibrillation was going to come,so in the beginning after the maze I was very afraid that the next step would be atrial fibrillation again.
As you are the expert on running I like to ask you another question.Long before the maze I was running marathons, than because of the A-fibs half marathons and than 15km and than 10km etc.(training:no problem, after the training A-fibs).I like to start running again and I started with 4 minutes walking,1 minute slowly jogging,4 minutes walking,1 minute slowly jogging etc.Everytime I start to jog,my pulse drops 10-15 beats a minute and I get very short of breath and when I am walking again it comes back in 1-2 minutes, only in a faster rate than before. While walking the rate won't come down, but when I start jogging again it drops again, etc, etc.
I understand that after the maze the reaction on and after exercise of the heart is very slow, but why the drops? And how do you cope with the slow reaction? Because of the shortness of breath I cannot continue the jogging. After 1 minute I really have to stop!
