As loyal as I am to Dr. McCarthy, who cured me, I would not hesitate to go to Dr. Gillinov and the extremely well practiced surgical teams at the CC.

Unless Dr. McCarthy is taking his top assistants with him, I would suspect that it will take a few months to get everyone on the same page/thought process in the operating room. The CC probably has such a low rate of complications/deaths because their surgical teams are like fine, well-oiled machines, and they have seen/done most everything...many times!

I wish Dr. McCarthy all the success. May he develop something as good or better than the CC Heartcenter, so there will be still another option for afibbers looking to be cured for good.
