Carl,
The wire was from a previously implanted pacemaker.
Now, the latest news is they think it might be ok, that they are just getting a bad reading on the x-rays due to the swelling of the atria.
As off now the plan is to treat it that way, and take another look at it in 6 weeks when the swelling is gone.
They've sen this on previous MAZE cases, so hopefully I will be discharged tomorrow.
