Paul: Ditto for what Ed said. The "Mack truck thing" is
a reference to the comparison of the maze to by-pass surgery, I believe, not as to how you will feel. My feelings were like Ed's. I woke up and through rather sleepy eyes, could see the EKG monitor, just plugging along in NSR. Then I couldn't see at all for the tears of excitement about what my "new" life would be like. You may have read before where I said the "open chest" maze was not nearly as uncomfortable as the kidney stones I had the year before. In a few days you will be walking fast and trying to test your "new" heart as did Ed and I. (Of course Ed's idea of testing is to let the world know he is coming!-by running over as much of it's surface as possible, in big chunks, like 50 miles at a time).
