Sarah, I thought I would be a better candidate for maze over ablation, but Drs. told me otherwise.

I believe it is a genetic problem as my Dad kept having "rotten stinking spells" with his heart, as he called them, for years prior to his death. I never heard anything from him about atrial fib though. All I knew was he was taking a prescription medicine for his heart. He actually died from a coronary occlusion..... blood clot.
