Had Mitral valve repair and maze surgery almost 1 year ago. This morning my resting pulse rate was almost as good as my pre afib days. My rate was 56.
Seems my rate has continued to improve since surgery. I am on no medication for rate control and continue to improve physically as time goes by. I am not taking my pulse as often as I used to, I am getting more comfortable with the fact that I am in NSR and life is reverting back to my old pre afib ways. I love to read good positive posts so I figured I would post one. Good Luck and God bless us all.-- Jimmy Cull
