Yes Mike, we were in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, at a resort for a week. We came home for about 12hrs, and then drove to St.Louis, MO to have a third rotator cuff operation done for my hubby!
Good old Cleveland Clinic was sensitive enough to suggest a specialist in difficult RTC surgeries closer to home, for us. This was the first (hopefully last) one for his left shldr. The surgeon, a lovely young woman, Dr. Galitz, isn't sure there is anything she can do about the right shldr's previous two failures, but promised to talk to us about it again, after this one heals first. Hubby is about 55% handicaped with his right arm.
We wanted to take a vacation before the surgery and long recovery time that a rotator cuff surgery takes.
The Secrets Capri resort at Playa, was just wonderful! We bought a complete package, with air, etc. right from here in NW Arkansas, so it was convienient! We missed a LOT of nasty weather!
I'm writing a new post about my "heart" experiences there.............
