I just received a phone call from Carolyn this morning.
Carolyn was visiting Pat Sat. He was just in a regular room, still getting treated for the Thyroid problem, when he had Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
He spent a couple nights in intensive care and is doing fine now.
He is scheduled for the Maze on Thursday, and they will now implant a defibrillator, in case that he should ever have another cardiac arrest seizure after the maze.
Dr. McCarthy has told him that he should be one of the Maze Success stories.
Carolyn will call me again after the surgery on Thursday.
