I am 47 years old and keep going into afib alot. I was in and out of the hospital alot. Then my heart dr told me about another dr in Pittsburgh who could do the maze and I wouldn't have to have a pacemaker and if I stayed in rythem after 3 months I would be off my heart medicine and coumdin too. I had it done August 18 2003 and went back to work Oct 12 and been off the medicine since Nov and doing great and losing weigh too.
