Amiodarone is an anticoagulant, not a blood thinner. It prolongs the clotting of blood, doesn't thin it. Coumadin and amiodarone both are cationic, causing red blood cells to be positive charged and positive's attract therefore making the blood thicker. As such we should intake as many foods that are ionic or have negative charges as possible to equalize the viscosity of the blood so as to prevent the blood from being too thick and causing the heart to clavicate, which is a result of not enough blood flowing into the heart when it is beating irregularly.
