Dan,
Hahnemann University Hospital is a Tenet Hospital in Philadelphia. I don't know the history, but Tenet bought 8 hospitals in Philadelphia, incuding Hahnemann a few years ago, and the purchase somehow involved Drexel University's School of Medicine. Hahnemann was a teaching hospital prior to the purchase. Tenet has now closed two of those 8 hospitals because they weren't making enough money, including the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
