Thanks to all of you alumni who have shared your experiences over the last few
months. I got the message I wanted to hear, and am scheduled to go to
Cleveland on Sunday and subsequently have the Maze III procedure done by Dr. McCarthy later in the week.
I hope to see Ed Wehan before he leaves the facility, since we have spoken and
shared similar feelings regarding the remainder of our lives.
I will be posting to a patient website at: thestatus.com (click on view a patient's

As I undergo the testing, etc. I will post updates until my wife or son take over for me during surgery and recovery.
Thanks again to Jack and all of you participants who have graciously provided some guidance and encouragement. I fully expect to be able to add to the forum when I have recovered.
