Jeanne
I was put on flecinide in january 03 after my 3rd ablation. My heart stayed in NSR for about 3 months and then I began to have occasional bouts of A-fib. In August of 03 I was out of town with my youngest son and all of a sudden I began to feel extremely light headed and completely out of breath. I became so weak that I couldn't even walk. My son rushed me to the hospital and my heart was in ventrical flutter. They were able to cardio-vert me back into NSR and I was alright. I don't want to scare you but if you begin to feel light headed and out of breath get to an ER fast. MY EP told me that that kind of reaction is very rare but it can happen. I wish you the best
