Today, I was looking through some old papers when I came across a list of the drugs I was taking every day in July,2001:
Rythmol 225 mg
Lanoxin 0.25 mg
Toprol XL 50 mg
Vasotec 5 mg
Coumadin 5 mgIt is no wonder that I collapsed onto the floor walking into my cubicle at work and regained consciousness a minute or so later, with my cup of coffee staining the carpet.
At the time I thought everyone with Afib took these disgusting chemicals, because my cardio said so. He said I would have to take them for the rest of my life.
Then I found this Maze board (I was reading the other, silly, affibber board when I came across a heads-up from Carl telling us about this board).
Within one year I was cured. No meds. Just good health.
I visited my current cardio this week (a very reasonable man who trained at Case Western, right near CC). He told me he doesn't want to see me any more because there is no point - I have a completely normal heart.
I can sum up my feelings in few words:
THANK YOU, GOD, FOR GIVING US JACK DRUM!
Henry
