I would get the shakes. Then alternate with cold sweats, chills or even too hot. Who knows why, but I guess over time it affects internal organs. I would have a hard time breathing, it would affect my kidneys, etc.

Thyroid is a part of all that. AFIB seems to both aggravate the thyroid and be aggravated by it. When I started on thryoid medicine it probably did more than any of the anti-arrythmia drugs. My wife also found it was a huge part of the Toxemia or Pre-Eclampsia she would get during pregnancy. I don't believe we would have either of our youngest children if she had not gotten that straightened out.
