I can't believe it. I finally got a cesium stress test and also an echocardiogram done today as well. I have been trying to get an echocardiogram done since 15th of December. My EP finally scheduled the stress test a couple of weeks ago to see what kind of condition my heart is in as to whether I can switch from betapace to another kind of antiarrythymic medicine so I will be able to travel 'somewhere' for ablations or maze. I did not get to talk to the EP today but got a phone call after I returned home and he wants me to come in tomorrow at three pm to let me know the results.

I had to threaten to check myself into the hospital in order to get something done and for the EP to get off his duff and give me a call. I just happened to 'run across' another cardiologist in the group that I go to and told him I needed some help and how disgusted I was with not getting some help and I needed help now. He took the time to listen to me even though he didn't even know me and promised that he would get something done. Now mind you he wasn't my regular cardiologist, just another one in the CVC cardiology group in Tyler, Texas. Actually one of the nurse's that ran the cesium stress test unit and camera is the one that got my echocardiogram set up and done today, not my Cardiologist or EP. After I told her I had been having trouble getting an echo scheduled, she got on the ball and came back in with a scheduled time for me to return in a couple hours and get the echo.

Now how's that for getting things done. Having to have a nurse to get the ball rolling.

Anyway, now I hope everything gets faxed to the EP in Dallas by Thursday afternoon because I have an appointment with him on Friday to be screened for PVA(I).

Glenn
