Nancy: A better "subject/title" could not be created for your story!
I can't believe (well, I guess I CAN, given the collective experiences posted here) that your mitral valve problem was not diagnosed until the cath was done prior to your trip to the CC...AND you were on Tambocor, which I would think would be contraindicated for that condition. It darned sure was NOT going to help afib which was at least contributed to by the valve problem.

HOWEVER we can "educate" cardiologists, etc. re: the real CURES available is OK with me. The real question is: Has your doctor referred anyone to the CC or anywhere else to be cured?

I'll bet you consider that $3000 better spent than on another camera which you couldn't carry into the swamp. It sounds like you've whipped yourself into great shape for tramping into the cold LA swamplands.

Life is indeed GOOD! Life USED TO BE CRAP for so many of us, but now we have bikers, stock car racers, ultra marathon runners, world class rowers, scuba divers/mountain climbers, formerly retired physicians, home addition builders, Category 5 rapids canoer/kyakers, etc., etc. who are celebrating their new lives. Wow!
