Sarah,

I do feel better. Not because anything physically has changed but because I finally feel like someone is listening to me and help is now at hand.

Dr. Epstein and his fellow where surprised and possibly shocked at the lack of care I had been receiving. ( What a surprise. ) None of my records had been forwarded or if they had been, they were lost. Dr. Epstein ask questions and to my amazement listened to my answers. Sometimes he had to ask the questions twice, he could not believe what I told him about my care, or lack of it.

Anyway, the result is to be hospitalized for a change to arrhythmia meds until they no longer work. Could be a month, could be a year but this is the protocol they use to justify further intervention and care, since none had been instigated earlier. I am OK with this, at least it is a start.

Dr. Epstein also said something intersting. He said the care and treatments for AF were improving by giant steps every year. I liked this man and I believed him. I also trusted him. A first for me.

So, I will keep you informed of what is happening. It is a baby-step but at least it is a step forward.

Best wishes and NSR,

Jeanne
