Tammy,
Jack is asking you a very important question. If you have Atrial Flutter, it can be fixed with an overnight procedure (a low-risk, right atrium ablation).
I had Atrial Flutter and the good people on this board persuaded me not to accept it but to go and get it fixed. I am so glad that I listened to them and got it taken care of.
My heartrate was 150 bpm going in for the procedure and 70 bpm when I came out a few hours later.
A constant high heartrate is not good for your heart and could cause things to get worse over the years.
Dr Robert Schweikert at the Cleveland Clinic took care of this problem for me.
Good luck,
Henry
