There have been some comments lately about complications of the maze, treatment failures, etc.
Just wanted to announce the I had the maze five years ago today, and with the exception of one episode of atrial flutter more than 3 years ago, I have been off all meds, and in normal sinus rhythm, ever since.
Dr. Cox performed the operation at Georgetown Medical center. I remain ever grateful.
