Sarah,

Thank you. I and my husband plan to not leave the doctor's office without help. And, if for some reason, this doc also says I should live with it, I will find
another doctor. But I do not think this will happen. The reason, I met with them last summer, just for a talk. I asked why my local medicos did not refer more patients and they said they couldn't understand it either, since there was proven help for AF sufferers.

The thing that has always confounded me was the cardiologist attitude. I am the type AF sufferer that pulse soars to 260+ beats, have chest pain, shortness of breath, elevated heart enzymes, all the bad stuff. Then the cardio walks in and tells me to relax, AF isn't life threatening. Huh????? Fortunately, I have a great Primary Care doc who said, if it was him, he'd go for it and sent in my charts where the cardio wouldn't.

I am nervous but not as bad as I would be without all you knowlegeable folks. You will never know how much you have influenced me to go for the "cure", even if it is just a tune up. I am listening and it is not my gut talking, it is my heart and it is telling me to act.

Jeanne
