Once a message is posted, it is too late to edit or delete. Only Jack or I could delete it through the system administrator option.

There are two options for messages on this software. One is to provide the ability to review it and edit it if needed before posting (the one we have enabled) and the other is to post immediately with no review. When the post immediately option is used, you get many blank or half messages posted. With this option that we have to review it, you get some duplicates and some that do not see that they need to confirm it to post and end up not posting.

Once you hit the post message option - it is going to post. My guess is that you are on a dial up modem and they can be slow at times. So, your message takes a while to get to the site and a while to give you the response that it is posted. The only solution is to wait a little bit longer before hitting the post key again 4 or 5 hundred times :)

The newsgroup is on a very fast and reliable server, so it is not likely any delays come from that side, so it would more likely be the internet connection of the person posting. In a very rare instance, a message might not get posted, but if you wait a little bit, that would be clear.
