Your last statement in the above post got my attention for sure......"Even the first Maze III patient from 1987, a former chief pilot for an airline (who regained his FAA certificate post-maze), is still doing great."
That gives me hope that I can again possibly get my single engine rating re-instated. I haven't been able to pass an annual in over twenty years because of this mess.
