I didn't mention before that I ALWAYS went into afib during any air flight which lasted much more than 1 hour, UNLESS I took some extra atenolol (Tenormin) before flying to keep my heart rate down. DON'T do this without talking to your doctor!

You might try getting the Guided Imagery tapes I mentioned in my post to Judy, to listen to before and during traveling. Perhaps they would help you to NOT go into afib. I'm sure that the CC would send them to you prior to your arrival if you asked for them so you could "practice" getting relaxed.
