Bruce had his surgery on Saturday as scheduled and is doing very well. He'd been in chronic A Fib for a very long time and had been suffering from A Fib since 1985. He did make the decision to have the Maze completely on his own and that did scare him. Dr. Cox reassured him that it was the only way he could be cured. So far it has worked but we know from everything we've read here and elsewhere that he could go back into A Fib anytime. I'm trying to prepare myself for this but it's hard. Any words of encouragement will be greatly appreciated.
