I was a 20 plus year a-fib sufferer and July 1st of this year I came from Seattle to Cleveland for Dr. Gillinov to eradicate the a-fib. So far, so great! I agree with the others...do what you can to get to Cleveland, and if that is logistically tough, do a lot of research and find a doc near you. The folks on this board are a goldmine of info...I have been blessed with a doctor who has supported me since day one in my efforts to have the Maze....she is far, few and in-between in the general medical community.
