I concur with Ed re: the CC probably being your best bet as far as proximity for you AND skill of the folks there. Of course my success there influences my feelings. If you were closer to Salt Lake City than Cleveland, I would probably say go there or to Dr. Barnes in Boise,Utah. There have also been some success stories from some surgeons in Houston.

I would suggest contacting the CC and having your records sent for evaluation. They will probably want a current echo and EKG as well. It sounds as though your doctors have kept you in the dark re: being cured of afib. I'll bite my tongue and control my typing as to not make any disparaging remarks, but it's hard!
