It was 8 mos. Christmas day since my Maze procedure at CC. Prior to the surgery I was in constant A-fib for six years. I was on coumadin, beta blockers, high blood pressure meds, etc. I woke up from the surgery in NSR and have been in it every since. My quality of life has improved 10 fold. I have energy, I am off all medications, I work out each day and have a better outlook on life. Every day I swim one half mile and I do 35 min. on the eliptical trainer. I want to thank everyone on this web site for all the help you have given me on deciding to go through with the surgery. Have a great year everyone! Jim Matthews
