This being the third non-afib Christmas I will be enjoying, I could not let it pass without thanking Dr. Cox and his many colleagues over the years for their tireless (and oft-thankless) efforts to free so many of us of the curses of chronic afib (the so-called "benign" condition) which we endured, some for many years.
What a difference Dr. Cox' continuing research and the training of the likes of Dr. McCarthy, Dr. Millar,
and others has made in our lives.Dr. McCarthy continues to be active in searching for improvements of "cures" for afib, and a new development may be "in the wings" for future afibbers (stay tuned).
I would also like to wish Dr. Cox a Happy Birthday, on this, the eve of that day. May he have many, many more; and with each one may he remember that 1000s of FORMER afibbers are enjoying their lives in NSR, thanks to him.
