It seems to me, with my very limited understanding, that a Maze with Dr McCarthy will fix the Afib and also the valve and that a second PVA with Dr Natale should not be necessary.

I think I can guarantee that you will not be coughing during the Maze. They zonk you right out

As both a Maze and an Ablation alumnus, if I were in your shoes I would choose Dr McCarthy without hesitation.
