I completely understand you. We also had bad experiences with local cardiologists and a surgeon.
My husband had his first mitral valve surgery at a local hospital, and it was not successful.
May be we didn’t know what questions we should have asked the surgeon.

When he needed the second surgery, we did our home work, and the Internet was available.
We went to CCF to the best surgeon: Dr Cosgrove.
We are very glad we did.
So, when the AF returned, and the ablation at CCF didn’t solve the problem, we did our home work again, and that’s why I sent the URL address of UofM.
